Programming and Web Development

As society becomes more information oriented, computers, technology, and the Internet are an integral part of most jobs. Our students are trained using a state-of-the-art 20-workstation lab running a Windows XP environment. Students will learn how to manage data electronically with Microsoft Office Suite of applications. 

Programming concepts are taught using Visual Studio, Net Microsoft Access, HTML, Java and JavaScript. Web pages are designed and developed with FrontPage, Dreamweaver and XHTML. Upon graduation, students are prepared for an entry-level position in Computer Programming and Web page development or to further their education by enrolling in a post-secondary school.

● Create, test, and implement games and apps using tools and software for web, iOS®
   and Android® platforms
● Work individually and in teams to program robots, develop custom software solutions
   and build dynamic websites
● Program in languages such as HTML, Python, C#, RobotC, Visual Basic and JavaScript
