After the Acceptance

We are very excited to work with students applying to the Keefe Tech Class of 2030!

This page will be updated  with specific information after we close our regular grade 9 application window and communicate a date for our virtual public lottery.  Please note that all communication about admissions will go through the email address that applicants use when applying.  Below are steps that families should be prepared to take if accepted through the lottery to confirm their enrollment.  

Steps Accepted Students will need to be prepared for in order to attend Keefe Tech :

  • Confirm your enrollment as a member of the Class of 2030 by registering in Powerschool - there will be a specific email with an individual link that will go out to the parent/guardian email included on the application.
    • Families will need to upload proof of residency and occupancy in this submission
    • Families will need to upload applicant's most recent physical in this submission
  • Attend Family Information Night on March 19, 2026 - on the Keefe Tech campus, beginning at 6PM.  This event will include placement testing for all incoming grade 9 students. 
  • Be on the look out for an invitation for a Welcome Session with your middle school during the months of March and April
  • Start thinking about course levels and elective courses you are interested in so we can make you a schedule for next year
  • Transition Meetings:  If your child is currently receiving special education services at their middle school a member of the Keefe Tech Special Education Department will attend their transition meeting.  These meetings take place as early as March and go through the end of the school year.  Parents/guardians should request team members from both Keefe Tech and sending town high school if you are deciding on the best placement for your child.  Meetings are scheduled by the middle school staff. 
  • Attend Welcome Class of 2030 event on Thursday, May 7, 2026 beginning at 6:00 PM - this is when students will select their 8 programs for Career Exploratory.
