Superintendent's Message
February 10, 2023
To Members of the Keefe Tech Community,
It is hard to believe we have already hit the halfway mark in our school year. Our admissions process is well underway, with tremendous interest from middle school students from our member communities. It is also an exciting time for our Grade 9 students, who have just made their program placement decisions and are beginning their journey in Career and Technical Education. A number of Grade 11 students have just become eligible for cooperative education placements, and they will be putting their skills to use in actual employment settings. Finally, as our winter sports season comes to a close, hundreds of student athletes should feel a great sense of accomplishment and pride for their hard work this season.
To our high school families, I encourage you to remain in contact with us about your student’s progress, as well as any ideas, questions or concerns that we can address. I also encourage you to share your Keefe experience with members of your community and other prospective students so they are aware of the exceptional opportunities we have for the students we serve.
Our Keefe at Night program is preparing for another busy season of workforce development programs and enrichment courses that will serve well over 1000 community members this spring. Even though the weather is still cold, many families are thinking ahead to the summer. Our incredibly popular Summer Discover program is also planning for another great season, with enrollment well underway.
Best,
Jonathan Evans
