Cooperative Education/Internships
The Cooperative Education Program provides an opportunity for deserving students to participate in paid employment in their career and technology programs. Second semester Juniors and seniors who have met academic and attendance requirements and earned a
B- or better in their training area are eligible to work during their training week for area employers. They receive fair and competitive wages and valuable work experience. During this time, students are expected to maintain their vocational and academic grades and continue to have good attendance at school.
Students have been employed at various companies such as TJX Corporation, Bernardi Toyota, Metrowest Child Care Center, Portland Plumbing Supply, Metrowest Chamber of Commerce, Blue Star Computers and many others.
Keefe Tech provides juniors with work-based learning experiences such as formal unpaid internships at companies including Staples Corporation, MetroWest Medical Center, Comark Corporation, and TJX Corporation.
Keefe Tech students have participated in National Job Shadow Day as well as Career Days.
The Co-op Coordinator is Robert Packard, rpackard@jpkeefehs.org or 508 416-2277.
